How do I add my activities to my profile, in the my expopedia profile section?

In the shopping section
1. First you ‘add your first activity’ (service) you want to be listed under in the search results
2. Then you ‘add the country’ you want to be listed with this activity
3. Then you add the venues in the country you’ve added before

You can choose near which city or all cities.
You can click on congress venue or exhibition venue which will change the listing:
One list provides venues that offer both congress and exhibitions services;
The other list provides venues that offer only exhibitions services;
And the third list provides all available venues.

Then you select the venues you want to be listed at and add these venues.
You can add more venues at another city for example

4. You can add another activity and follow the steps 1 tot 3 again
5. You can add another country for the same activity and follow the steps 2 to 3
6. You can add another activity for the same country and follow the steps 1 to 3

*International select box: In this region, country you can offer your services to possible customers from your own region. By adding this feature, you claim that you are internationally active in this region and possess an international network of local suppliers in this region, country.

How do I add my profile and activities to be listed in expopedia starting from the calculate section?

Step 1
You should mention if you are a member of a national association for an additional discount
Expopedia has the intention to work with all professional associations for suppliers in the exhibitions & meetings industry.
Is your professional association not listed here? Please inform them to contact us. Once your professional association has a contract with us, you’re entitled to a retroactive 40% discount by means of a discount coupon which you can use to expand or to extend your profile. So, don’t hesitate to proceed to step 2.

How does the tradefair service finder work?

To explain clearly how our search engine works, I propose to go through the steps that Expopedia search engine users have to follow.

1. First you state your home country of your company
2. And then your profile of your company (are you a looking for a supplier as a visitor of an exhibition, an exhibitor or an organiser ? Or even as a fellow supplier: then you choose your companies activity)
3. Choose what activity (service) you are looking for ?
4. Where do you need it (country) ?
5. Near which city?
6. At which venue ?

Then you click the Search button

You will get a search result list with local suppliers (and possibly international suppliers). The map shows you where the suppliers in the list are located (blue dot) and the location of the venue (red dot).
The result list of resources at the chosen venue is sorted by distance to the venue. You can change this ascending of descending, but also sort suppliers by name, city, country.
If you click a blue dot, you get a link to a suppliers’ profile.
If you click the red dot, you get a link to the venue’s profile.
If you click a supplier in the list, you get the suppliers profile.

What does it cost?

Expopedia offers you an annual membership with a fee that depends on the scale of your profile.

How can a visitor find my suppliers profile?

If a visitor fills out the search module, with the questions
- What activity (service) are you looking for?
- Where do you need it?
- Near?
- Which venue?
and if he completes by the Search button he gets a search result.

If the visitor is looking for a activity (service) you have a subscription for, at the venues you’ve chosen, then your company profile will listed in the returned results. If he clicks on your company he sees your complete profile.

We provide a tool that gives you the possibility to search on a name of a supplier.
This can be done in the tradefair service finder.

My venue is not listed?

You can add your venue in the tradefair service finder at the bottom right [add venue].
This venue profile will be checked by our webmaster and published afterwards.

At my venue there are no suppliers listed?

You can inform them about Expopedia. To be listed at your venue they should subscribe for your venue at their chosen activity (service).
Or you can provide us a list of your preferred suppliers and we will contact them.

How long most I subscribe?

We provide subscriptions for one year. During that year you can extend your subscription, or add more activities (services) or add more venues.

If you subscribe for two years you get an additional discount.

What is My expopedia? Where can I change my company profile?

This is your company profile backoffice.
During your subscription you can edit your profile here and see how many times your company profile appeared in search results as well as how many times it was viewed.
You can also view your invoices.
You can view the activities (services) you have a subscription for.

Is this tradefair service finder not a competition for the local venue suppliers services toolboxes?

Show organizers can also promote their venue through Expopedia, i.e. by affiliating and placing a link to the trade fair manual or service leaflet. If they offer e.g. services such as stand construction, furniture rental or electricity material, they can add their service leaflet to their MyExpopedia profile under these specific activities at their own venue. And their services will be the first to be found at their venue because they are sorted geographically.

We realize that there is a need for a better international cooperation between service suppliers from our branch on the one hand and for a simple way to expose exhibitors to local service suppliers on the other hand.
Therefore, Expopedia developed an internet site with tradefair service finder.
This tradefair service finder is a user-friendly and logically composed instrument that can be used free of charge by several types of visitors: trade fair and exhibition organizers, visitors of these events, congress visitors and speakers, exhibitors, meeting organizers, building managers, stand constructors and service suppliers.
